Exposition “A Flower of water”

From Tuesday April 9th to Sunday November 24th, 2019

This year, we are putting water in our wine, promise!!!    😉

We are happy to welcome Burgundian artists, Nathalie Razavet et Odile Vailly to our walls again for this season 2019.
On the menu this year:

Nature, Fluidity, and Lightness

Nathalie’s artistic theme, A Flower of Water, is inspired by the colors, the flora, and the peaceful and provincial roll of the Vouge River through the seasons.

The source of this river is in Côte de Nuits, in Vougeot – not far from the famous Castle of Clos de Vougeot – and has the distinction of crossing the beautiful proprety of Nathalie and her spouse, Claude Buffey.

A painter and professor of painting in her spare time, Nathalie also wanted to pay homage to her students by exhibiting – in addition to her works – an anthology of their still lifes at the Tbale d’Hôtes of Domaine Comte Senard.

You will not be unmoved by the daring talent of Odile Vailly, creator of delicate and atypical works in minutely crafted wire. At the unanimous request of our clients, as we appreciate her work and also her personality, we are proud to exhibit for the 3rd year in a row her unique and original pieces, winning an undeniable success with our visitors.

Folded, woven, crossed, twisted, knotted, tangled… it will take as many adjectives and more to compare the time it takes Odile to patienltly fashion her small metal masterpieces.

Some pieces of her creation will adorn our walls until mid-November.
However, if you want to see more, Odile and her husband Eric – a visual artist himself – will welcome you at their studio “l’Atelier 10/11ème”, located 20km south of Beaune in the small village of Corcelles-les-Arts, for a discovery of rare and surprising pieces made entirely of recycled materials. A beautiful step in a moment where ecology stays at the heart of our current concerns.
Do not miss the “Boat of Eric”, with a totally offbeat style!

The Exposition “A flower of water” will be at the Cellar and Table d’Hôtes of the Domain from Wednesday April 9th to Sunday November 24th 2019.

From Wednesday April 9th to Sunday November 24th 2019.
From Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 6pm.
